Needful things
I was having a great time last night watching patches of H.A.A.R.P. concert on YouTube. I switched to Eddie Izzard's Definite Article videos which were downright hilarious that it could compete with Dress To Kill which I absolutely love. I'm probably going to download that too after the Muse concert and the BBC special report.
Anyway, here's the list:
1. Passport filing - Dad seems to always forget to file for my birth certificate. Unfortunately the first certificate I ordered got lost in our forsaken house.
2. Liverpool scarf - David did promise to meet up with me sometime around July to get my scarf. I am hoping that it won't cost more than a grand.
3. Dates - I have several dates under my belt for the entire month. I have to polish the schedule and the budget for it.
That's it then, now back to my Musing. Excusez-moi.

Musings
Oh yeah, football. I'm not surprised Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Real Madrid already. Hey now, you may say Real pursued him first but the real deal is Cris expressed his sentiment for the elite club way, way back. Anna mentioned that to me before which was accompanied by our reactions (read: sneering and jeering) because goodness, who wants a diva in La Liga? He has the talent, sure but his attitude has much left to be desired. Kaka is okay. Albiol is okay. The one player I have been anticipating of a good transfer is David Villa--and that desire was formed way before I knew we shared the same birthday. News are sprouting everywhere in Europe. Recently, it has been Xabi Alonso's most likely departure from Liverpool due to a longstanding row with gaffer Rafael Benitez. Real had expressed their interest in the Spaniard but haven't pursued a long path to take him seriously. After all, Perez has already signed 3 new players which most likely will bring chaos to the current first team arrangement. Raul should probably retire although it's a tad inappropriate to mention this during the captain's birthday. Anyway, hala Madrid!
Turning towards music, I have fallen in love with Muse or rather, Matt Bellamy. He is seriously fucking awesome. Chris and Dom are awesome too but bejeezus, I now believe that the sun is rising from Matt's lips. Their songs from Black Holes and Revelations and Origin of Symmetry show the depth of their poetic inclination and subtlety in creating art. I'm laying down my fealty for them. I have the gall to say that they are even better than Radiohead; provided that I have not indulge myself in listening to Thom Yorke's songs I still stand by what I am feeling. Just listening to my audio copy of their HAARP concert is making me teary eye. Vraiment. Dad even liked Starlight and Invincble when I showed the videos to him. He actually volunatarily surrendered his laptop to me a few moments back to continue downloading the DVD rip off. Surprise, surprise.
With this I am now officially letting go of my addiction to James Hetfield and Metallica. My brain is probably just waiting for another band to take over the Metallica domination that has been running (up and down) for 2 years. I can say that they've done very well. Now it's time to explore and mull over Muse.

Hop here, hop there
The transfer rumors are seriously giving me brain damage already. Just the Kaka issue which was obviously confirmed by Real Madrid’s official purchase gave me enough fodder for a major headache. Seriously, I never knew how much stress these few weeks can give to the fans. I’ve never actively and keenly observed this ritual which I think was a great idea but with what these gossips flying about even resolutely looking away from these news are impossible.
Cristiano Ronaldo has long been courted by Real Madrid; from Calderon’s era to Perez’s current one he has been a big topic of transfer. Now with Calderon’s shit hitting the fan and leaving the mess for Perez, whether RM would buy the Portuguese or not they would still pay Man United moolah just for the hell of it. On the Spanish side of the world however, Valencia reportedly declined Chelsea’s offer for El Guaje because advanced talks with Real Madrid are already ongoing. Now that’s more I like it. I wouldn’t mind buying Villa and Silva than Cristiano Ronaldo although yes, I know that it would not be a good idea to stack up strikers. Hopefully, Ribery will seriously move to Real Madrid too.
Hala Madrid!

Fried
Zim et co. – a French teeny bopper movie. Admittedly, there were some amusing moments of Zim’s quest to find a decent boulot and prove to the judge that he’s no criminal. On the other hand, I realized how complicated human beings are merely by having compassion.
Marie-Jo et ses deux amours – as what a friend said, it’s very French. Dragging, pointless to a fault and not so subtle as what it tried very hard to portray.
Un secret – the gorgeous Cecile de France almost saved the film. I nearly slept halfway through it although the plotline could seriously be a big hit amongst Filipinos who love family secrets.
I'm yours, Dah-veeed!!!

There was this time
Yesterday afternoon found me with a text message from my telecommunications service provider announcing a free ringtone of Careless Whisper for today. I totally had to snort to that. Even the big companies are playing by the hooks to promote George Michael’s hit although if you’re a Filipino I doubt if he’s the first person that would pop on your mind. This Careless Whisper mania is indubitably led by the scandal rising from two celebrities sultry dancing to the tune. Oh and they got a sex video to partner it with. I seriously don’t want to indulge about this issue like most blogs do. So I won’t. I was just downright amused when I saw the ad.

I’m trying and continuously failing to watch a past Doha Debates episode on their website. I don’t know if it’s the website or my net connection which is pretty fast right now. So damn. I’m left with nothing to do which means I’m off to sleep in a few unless something catches my attention.
I’m looking for Middle East blogs. As I’ve mentioned before (in another blog), I am really interested in the politics and issues of the Middle East. It’s with an obvious connection that it’s a primary product of loving the Doha Debates and Tim Sebastian’s extraordinary debating skills. They are the melting pot of the world in terms of religion, culture and an ill fated war amongst countrymen. So what better way to start growing a fondness for politics than start with the Middle East.
Anyway, if you know good blogs, kindly drop me a message so I can check them. I’ve already passed by the Middle East Post, Time’s Middle East Blog, Juan Cole’s blog and others.

Moving my feet
Skipping work yesterday, I went to NCMH to visit my former CI. It was amusing that she could not remember me, probably because I forgot to give a picture back then. She’s currently handling Pavilion 4 – Forensics where the notorious and criminally insane folks are. It was damn fortunate that they are currently looking for psychology graduate students. That’s a big opening for me already who suddenly had this pathetic epiphany that after two years of working in an industry-based career wanted to concentrate on clinical psychology. Anyway, I tagged along with my CI and her OJTs to the pavilion which surprisingly was not abounded by the signature pungency of the whole building. She conducted a Rorschach test for a male inpatient who was confined in the center for having bouts of nervous breakdown. I seriously think the patient is not qualified in the pavilion based on his coherent explanations although the minor act of larceny probably sealed him there.
Leaving NCMH with a shit eating grin, I am now filled with a cemented determination to finish processing my passport and civil service exam. Went to Megamall to have my passport picture and I seriously don’t know if Great Images are simply fucktards for charging over the top prices for photos or they are the best in the photo services around the metro. Then the rain just had to pour like there’s no tomorrow and nearly drowned myself when I dropped by at dad’s office because I had to borrow his laptop.
—
Me and my big fucking mouth. I blurted to a relative that I will most probably resign with or without a new job by the end of July and the relative had several hours to process the fact before nagging me to death. I have to tell you, I fucking hate naggers. I detest them. Even my mom who tends to run off the highway with her shits when mad at me is not spared when I snap from too much cacophony over a measly thing. With my hatred for these people I can be righteous because I never, ever do it. I took it up from dad who usually kills a conversation-turning-to-nag with a raging sentence mixed with a cuss or two. Anyway, I’m not going to turn philosophical over this.
I’m currently downloading Aerosmith’s Young Lust which stopped at 86.3% because all the seeders disappeared. My iPod, surprisingly, has more than 6gb of free space already. Speaking of my song culling, just when I had appreciated Adam Lambert’s Mad World, I deleted my Tears for Fears’ greatest hits. Fucktastic.
It’s still raining and I have to get my photos by past 4 and I’ll do some bank transactions for mum who’s currently in the province. Dad mentioned that Bolinao’s still suffering from lack of electricity. That’s our local government for you folks.
I saw in the news last night that a TV network hosted a forum at UP for presidential candidates and I could not help but think that it would have been better if they formed a debate. Clinching one specific topic would have produced enough fodder for young voters (the target of the forum) to know where they stand. I would love to see Tim Sebastian host it and slap them in their faces with their loose reasoning and stuttering English (talk in Tagalog if you’re more comfortable with it for heaven’s sake). I’ll probably check it out on Sunday when it’s aired although I might forget it. Ha.

Now, now, now
My Twitter account is recently bombarded with Real Madrid updates from their consecutive losses to the closing of the season. A new president has arrived and from the changes we’ve been seeing I think we’re heading back to glory’s path. I have faith in Pellegrini who managed Villareal and made the club better during his tenure. Kaka’s transfer rumors are the strongest this week and I’m about to cross the line and believe it because come on, a good player is a good player and I’m excited. I can’t say the same if it’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s issue though.
My quitting is inevitable. I’m already looking forward to resting after two years of work. I want to read books again. I want to watch Real Madrid’s 2009/2010 opening matches. I want to sleep the whole day. I want to work in a mental institution. I’m itching for it badly I’ll probably go to Lyceum and ask for Dr. Facto’s counsel.
—
My near-fainting episodes are occuring more frequently and it’s not amusing at all. I’m all for a check-up but I don’t even know to which specialist should I go. For all I know this is one of the signs of cancer or something as horrible.
Joder.

Second shot
Yeah. I’m back with another WordPress blog after deleting my old one a few weeks back. Obviously I’m trying to work things out with my muse and I’m still not 100% back to blogging or writing any story for that matter.
Crappy url I know. But hey, I think it looks really alien to someone who’s not familiar with Tagalog, no? So I’m cool with it until I realize it’s really not cool and then I’ll take this blog down and start another crappy one. That’s for another day I’m sure.
What’s eating my time right now? Nothing. I’m still in limbo. The other night I thought my iPod got stolen. Adam Lambert’s the new addition and seriously, I love his Believe version. If that is not gay then I don’t know what it is.
Real Madrid got a new president and coach. Things are looking good from this side and I’m seriously looking forward to the new players. I’m going to stay away from transfer rumors already since I have a feeling I’ll get the most disappointment if the players I want won’t be there.
